September Morn is a famous painting by French artist Paul Chabas, painted in 1912. It caused no sensation in France but turned into a scandal when displayed by an American art dealer in Chicago. The resulting court case became an international joke, and artists around the world made note of it in cartoons and sketches and articles. This image was not printed by Donald Art Co, but it is similar to (and was most likely the inspiration for) Sandu's SUMMER MORN, which is shown in this album.
